Snow Day Fun!

Hello parents and children! Winter has well and truly arrived, and with it comes the excitement of snow days! What a wonderful opportunity to love the weather and enjoy some outdoor fun together. Bundle up in your warm coats and scarves, and don’t forget your trusty welly boots! There’s nothing quite like making footprints in the fresh snow, discovering the patterns left behind by animals, and creating your very own snow angels.

Why not build a snowman or even a snowdog? Gather some sticks for arms, and a carrot for the nose, and let your creativity shine! You can also draw in the snow, making shapes and designs for others to see; why not create your very own quiz with friends and family...

As you play, take a moment to observe how the snow melts away as you touch it... How long do you think it will take for a snowball to disappear? Maybe you could set up some targets in the garden and see who can hit them with snowballs!

When you come back  inside to warm up, maybe you might choose an activity from those below! Take time to enjoy every moment of your snow day adventures!
