Hello everyone!

We hope that you are all well and enjoying the wonderful sunshine! We hope that you had a happy VE Day Anniversary!

Here is the planning for next week with many activities that you can enjoy. Remember, you can do as much or as little as you wish. We are here to help you and support you with any questions or concerns. This week we are going to be learning from a book called 'The Bravest Fish' and we are going to have a try at measuring in lots of ways!

We are very pleased to see so many children enjoying their learning on RMeasimaths. After receiving many positive comments with regard to using an online activity, we have set up a 30 day free trial with Reading Eggs for the entire school. During this time where we are all at home, we appreciate that it  may have been a little challenging for some parents to access books at the correct reading level for your child. We hope that Reading Eggs will help overcome this and support progress with Reading. 

Reading Eggs will provide children with an opportunity to access a range of activities and progress through levels. Children should begin by completing a 'placement' activity in order to set the correct reading level. Please encourage your child to complete the placement task independently to ensure that the correct reading level can be accessed. 

We understand that some children may already be using Reading Eggs; however, if you are currently using a free trial,  we kindly ask that your child uses our school login so that we can monitor engagement, progress and see how they are getting on.
