Library Visit 19.10.16

As part of our “People Who Help Us” topic Year R visited the Chalfont St Peter library. Our trip started off with an exciting walk down to the library. The children were taught how they are able to borrow books from the library to take home and read and shown which books are suitable for their age group.  The lovely library assistant then told the children the story of “The Giant Turnip” using some props; we all got involved joining in with the repeating phases. The children were then given the opportunity to explore the library and look at some books.
