Our Space topic this week 'zoomed' into gear with a 'pair work' activity. The children were asked to work in pairs to create a space shuttle.
We looked at the story of QPootle5 and thought about some exciting things our rockets could do! On some rockets, there was a button to press to watch the football! We also looked at real space shuttles. The children were very good at remembering the features of space shuttles and the jobs that different parts do.
The children then worked together to create their own space shuttle. Lots of children added fuel tanks and rocket boosters. Others added 'special' buttons!
