Year 1 - 05.01.21

Hello Year 1, 

Firstly, we want to wish you all a Happy New Year! We are so very sad that we are unable to welcome you back to school for the beginning of 2021. However, don’t worry we are here for you and we have planned some exciting activities for the next few weeks. 

This term we are starting to learn all about Traditional Tales.  We will begin by reading  'The Three Billy Goats Gruff'. Did you know that Traditional Tales are very old stories that your parents and grandparents have also listened to. You might read different books that have different parts to the same story as they have been re-told over time. Maybe you might have 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff' on your bookshelf...

In Science, we will be thinking about he season of Winter. Can you think what animals are doing at the moment? Do you know why it is getting dark quite early?

Take a look at the folder for Tuesday to see what we have planned for you to do. We will update the rest of the weeks plan tomorrow (Tuesday 5^th January). Enjoy creating your puppet show, don’t forget to use lots of expression!
