Hello Year 1!

We hope you are all well and enjoying this very hot weather! I expect there has been a lot of splashing in paddling pools!

Did you enjoy all the activities last week? Room on the Broom is a great book isn't it? We hope that you learnt a lot about the four countries on which we focused.  Thank you for working so hard at home and at school.

This week we are going for a journey 'under the sea'! We are going to read 'Commotion in the Ocean' and design a new book page! If you would like to share your new page, send it to us and we will place it on the Home Learning Page.

We are also going to learn about some interesting sea animals and create a fact file booklet. Remember, these activities are to guide you. Please do not worry if you don't complete everything. If you need our help, we are here for you.

We are so proud of you all and we thank all our parents and carers for helping you to learn at home.
