Show and Tell
'Show and Tell' is an important part of the children's Communication and Language and Personal, Social and Emotional Development within the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
Every Friday, after lunch, the children are given the opportunity to share something interesting with the rest of the class. Mrs Mills chooses one object at a time from the 'Show and Tell' basket. Each child sits on the talking chair and talks about their chosen item. After the child has finished speaking, the other children have the chance to ask questions to find out more information about the object shown. We only choose children who are following our carpet rules; good sitting, good looking and good listening.
