Remembrance Parade

On Sunday 11th November, members of the School Council represented our school at the annual Remembrance Parade in the village of Chalfont St Peter. We were very proud to wear our school uniform and carry the school banner to remember all those who gave their lives for us.

We joined the Chesham Girls Band, other local schools, brownies, guides, scouts and beavers to walk the length of the high street down to St Peter's Church where a School Council member from Chestnut Class offered our poppy wreath.

As the last post was played, we took a moment to be silent and remember. We are very proud of the School Council who represented all the children and staff of our school.

Tomorrow, Monday 12th November, the Year 2 children will walk to the Memorial in St Peters Church to view all the poppy wreaths as part of their study for History and RE. We are sure they will be very excited when they find our poppy wreath laying on the Memorial.
