On Saturday the Choir shared their talent with the local community by performing at the Feast of St Peter. Everyone sang with great gusto watched by parents, grandparents and friends.
Well done to Lizzie - 1CT who sang solo to hundreds of spectators!
On Friday Chalfont St Peter Infant School was taken over by pesky pirates! They ran into the other classes and into the office trying to find treasure! After 'sailing away' on the Seven Seas aboard 'The Westie Beard' pirate ship, they finally found treasure in the Environmental Area.
All the Year 1 pirates used their Literacy skills to write messages in bottles warning other pirates to stay off their ship! After 'walking the plank' they headed off home with posh pirate pencils!
Yo ho ho me hearties!
The day finally arrived for the very excited class of 2ME to go to Shortenills as 2AS returned safely after a wonderful few days! After lots of activities during the day including orienteering, the whole class went into the woods for an evening adventure. As everyone stood in the woods at 8pm we had to listen for all the sounds as tiny animals were preparing for the night... Do you know the bees were still working in the foxgloves, even at 8pm!
After hot chocolate and biscuits or chocolate brownies, bedtime called... After a story was read by Mrs West, it was 10.30pm before the girls were asleep! What time were you asleep boys?!
The sun shone this morning and by 7.45am, the girls were in the adventure playground waiting for breakfast!
All the letters were brought to school and one said 'Dear Mum and Dad, I'm having the best day of my life'...
