  • Red Nose Day

    Fri 18 Mar 2022

Care is one of our school values and we encourage the children to show gratitude for what we have and think of others who do not have as much. There are several opportunities each year to think of others but on Red Nose Day we always like to join in the fun for charity. Looking fabulous in red and having lots of fun, we raised £152 for Red Nose Day Appeal.

  • Multi Skills Tournament

    Tue 08 Mar 2022

We are very lucky to have the support of the wonderful PSD who provide regular PE Lessons, clubs and training in our school. This week they provided each class with competitive opportunities as they played in their house teams against each other in small games and skills activities. Well done to all but especially Blue Team for taking the trophy this time. Everyone looked so smart in their sports colour t shirts bought with the Sports Premium Funding.

  • World Book Day 2022

    Thu 03 Mar 2022

With the last two World Book Days being held remotely - it was so lovely to enjoy this one together face to face. The children looked fantastic in their costumes, did some great writing as authors that day, and enjoyed the teachers own unique rendition of 'The Enormous Turnip'.

  • Visit from the Local Police

    Wed 02 Mar 2022

At the beginning of term, the children shared with us their aspirations - their North Stars - and there were many things that the children shared they would like to do. One that appeared several times was to be a Police Officer. So we invited in the local team to meet the children and to chat with them about what the role of a Police Officer entails. The children loved meeting them, finding out about how they help in the community, getting a chance to try on their jackets and hats and of course handcuff the Headteacher!
