Dress to Express Day was our way of celebrating Child Mental Health Week. We spoke with the children about the importance of celebrating individuality, about how we are all different and different is good!
Today was 3.2.23, a palindromic number that is the same forwards or backwards. So what better way to celebrate than with a Numbers Day. Fantastic costumes were worn to school and all children enjoyed a carousel of maths activities across all classes.
Another immersive day today as Year 2 experience History in Action with 'Florence Nightingale' in Scutari Hospital. This was a great way to learn about such a key figure in our country's history and to consider the impact she and other nurses made on the Health Service of the future.
