We enjoyed a wonderful, musical Harvest Assembly today at Chalfont St Peter Parish Church. The children behaved beautifully for their first trip down since Covid and we had wonderful feedback about the singing, speaking and confidence of the children. Thank you to all the children and parents for their generosity bringing gifts of food for the One Can Trust.
Willow and Pine Class had a wonderful time today learning about one of our emergency services - the Fire Brigade. This was in response to one child's hope to be a firefighter. The children enjoyed seeing all the fire engine's specialist equipment and learning about fire safety. Thanks to Gerrards Cross Fire Station for sparing the time to visit us.
What a wonderful time we had today - each child getting the opportunity to work with and code several gadgets from the Techy Tots collection. Much was learnt about algorithms and there was an excited buzz in the hall as their coding worked!
Thank you to our confident and smiley Year 2s who showed our new parents around school today. The parents were so impressed and I really think the children, touring and in the classrooms, delighted them with their information about our school and insightful comments about what we do here. Mrs Whittall was very proud of you all.
