Hello, 

I hope you all enjoyed learning about and celebrating VE Day. It was lovely to see so many pictures of you making bunting, baking cakes, designing medals and making flags. 

This week we will be learning about sunflowers. We will look at how they grow, the parts of a sunflower, a famous painting of sunflowers and we will be using sunflowers to help us find number bonds to 10. 

Reading Eggs

Thank you to all the children who have been working hard on RMeasimaths. After receiving positive comments about the ability to access online activities we have set up a 30 day free trial for  the entire school with Reading Eggs. During lockdown we appreciate it has been a challenge for some parents to access books at the correct reading level for your child. We hope Reading Eggs will help overcome this. 

Once logged in children can access a variety of activities to progress through levels. The first challenge is a placement activity to set the correct reading level. This should be done with no assistance to ensure that the correct level  for your child to make progress.  We appreciate some of you are already using Reading Eggs, if you are currently using a free trial  we ask that you use our school login so that the teaching staff can see your progress.
