International School

We are delighted to learn that we have been awarded both Foundation and Intermediate level of the International School Award! This award is an accreditation scheme for curriculum-based international work in schools. The scheme provides recognition for teachers and their schools working to instil a global dimension into the learning experience of all children and young people. Following the 'French Launch' day which marked the beginning of including a Modern Foreign Language in our already wide curriculum, we have worked hard to form a link with a French school. We have recently been successful in locating a school in France who wish to work with us. We now strive to embed an international ethos within the school curriculum and provide innovative international activities and a collaborative partnership with this school in Europe.
