National Grid Visit - Road Saftey

We would like to say a big thank you to the National Grid team who came to talk to the children about safety around road works today. We were fortunate to have the opportunity for each year group to have their own workshop.

During the video and question and answer session we learnt:

• Why the pipes need to be changed

• How gas keeps our homes warm in the winter

• What the road signs mean

• How to make sure that we keep ourselves safe around roadworks.

 The children will be coming home with their “Safety Superstar” certificates.
