Shortenills 2012 - Mrs McMann's Class!
We are having a fantastic time on our very first Residential School Trip to Shortenills. Today (Monday 18th June) we have been in the 'meadow' to learn the art of 'Orienteering'! We learnt how to use a compass and go North! We had to find clues and we had fun working with friends. In the evening Mrs Leech and Mrs West arrived. We had pizza, crispy wedges and salad for dinner and many of us had seconds!!!
We had a great time playing and doing outdoor activities until 7.30pm when it was time for supper and then bed - but we had other ideas!! The boys fell asleep at 10.30pm and the final four girls closed their eyes after 11pm!!! What a brilliant and fun start to our time at Shortenills!
In the morning (Tuesday 19th) we got up bright and early and following breakfast we were preparing to take our teddies on a picnic... Look below for photos of us...
