Mrs Bagley is the class teacher and Mrs Skyrme-Davies is the class Teaching Assistant
Over the coming weeks we will be writing to tell you all about our class and all the exciting learning opportunities that we will experience. You will be able to see pictures of us participating in lessons.
Although, due to Covid restrictions we have had to make changes to some of the daily routines and lessons we are still a very enthusiastic and fun-loving class! We enjoy each day, learning, communicating with our friends and following our school values; Respect, Hardworking, Caring, Creative and Honest.
Our PE lesson is Thursday afternoon (games). Please can you help us by coming into school wearing your P.E kit.
We take home 2 reading books on a Monday (returned Thursday) and a Thursday (returned Monday). On Wednesday afternoon we learn French!
We visit the Cocoa Pod on a Thursday where we often use Computing to enhance our learning in a cross curricular way.
A typical day in Elm class consists of
8.30- 8.45am: Registration
12.30-2.40pm: The afternoon lessons are the foundation subjects including
Science, Humanities, Art, Design Technology, French and Music
We work so hard all week that Friday afternoon is Golden Time! We all choose an activity and have the chance to play with our friends.
Every child also has an individual log in to Reading Eggs and RMeasimaths to support home learning. Please contact the school office if you are unsure of the log in details.
