Arts Week 2021

Hello everyone! 

Did you all have a lovely half-term? We hope you have enjoyed some walks or you have spent some time in your garden! Maybe you have spotted some bulbs beginning to appear as our seasons turns to Spring...

Guess what? This week is Arts and English Week! Hooray! The teachers have been very busy planning some exciting activities for you and we hope that you will learn a lot and also that you will develop your Art and Writing skills further.

Throughout this week, you will 'meet' many different famous Artists who each have an exciting individual style to their work. You will learn about their lives and hopefully you will be inspired to create Art that is modelled on the work of these Artists. I wonder which style will be your favourite...

The teachers can't wait to see how you get on and if you wish, maybe your Mummy or Daddy might take a photo of your favourite piece of Art and send it to your Class Teacher to place in the Chalfont St Peter Infant School Virtual Art Gallery! Remember, there is no pressure to do this; we want you to enjoy your Art and your English lessons that are all linked in a meaningful way.
