Pirate Day Me Hearties!

What an amazing day we had on Pirate Day!!! We all arrived dressed as pirates and our costumes were brilliant! Lots of scars, parrots and eye patches could be seen everywhere!

First we went on a fantastic adventure on the Jolly Roger with Rainbow Theatre Company. We acted, sang songs and went on the ocean sea...

We used our Literacy skills to write messages in bottles and hid them in the Environmental Area for Elm Class to find. There was LOADS of treasure in there and we all stole it very quickly! It is so wonderful to have a pirate ship in our playground and we sailed away on it with Captain Westy Beard on board!

Walking the plank was not as much fun though... sharks everywhere! Eeek! Look below at all our photos...
