Hello Year R, 

How are you? We hope you enjoyed the start to our week on Supertato! The Evil Pea was being very cheeky but Supertato managed to save the day! We loved seeing the comic strips you made. Have you watch the whole school assembly? We hope you enjoyed it! Don't forget to send picture of your 'Memory Bottles' to us and we will put them on the school website!

This week we are focusing on the book Michael Recycle. In Literacy you will be designing a poster to encourage people to recycle, you will also be sequencing the story. In Maths, we are learning about money, you will be matching coins and working out how much money is in the piggy bank. You could set up a shop and practise using money. Please send your money work to your class teacher by Wednesday and your poster by Friday. 

Remember you can also use RMEasimaths (which can now be used on iPads) and Reading Eggs to support your learning. We also recommend using Fast Phonics on Reading Eggs. Here you'll find the games we use in the classroom! It is wonderful to see lots of you making progress through both apps! We have also provided some Superhero Home Learning activities for you to do at home if you wish. There are also some interactive phonics workbooks to recap the sounds we have learnt so far! 

Don't forget to watch our daily good morning videos and on Monday and Thursday we will be reading you a story. On Friday there will be another Whole School Assembly.
