Shortenills 2013 - Mr Prior's Class!
On Monday 10th June 2013 lots of excited children from 2JP arrived at Shortenills Environmental Study Centre for a trip to remember...
After cosy beds were made up and cuddly toys were carefully placed, everyone went to the school room to learn about the compass points and how to find their way around Shortenills. After lunch, the children chose partners or small teams and enjoyed a time for orienteering. With maps at the ready, everyone searched for interesting objects, trees and numbers.
Tea time was a very yummy meal of pizza and wedges followed by chocolate pudding! After tea the adventure playground was 'simply the best'! Everyone was climbing, hanging and swinging!!
At bedtime, nobody was tired! The last boy fell asleep at midnight and the first girl woke up at 5am! The teachers were yawning!
Everyone woke up ready for action, ready for breakfast and ready for all the fun that was planned for the day...
