The Jolly Postman!

During the week beginning 26th September, Oak Class focused on the story 'The Jolly Postman' by Janet and Allan Ahlberg. We learnt about the busy job of a postman and all the things that are delivered to our doors. We thought it would be a good idea if we tried out a 'delivery' to our friends!

We borrowed the bikes from Year R and off we went! After labelling a parcel, we had great fun taking them to our friends. The next day, we all wrote a 'thank you letter' thinking carefully about using full stops and capital letters.
