Our favourite type of play - Messy Play!
On Monday the 3rd of February, we took part in our favourite type of play – Messy Play!
We explored lots of different foods, using the sense of touch. As we investigated the textures, we noticed that we were using the sense of smell, hearing and sight too. We explored semolina, jelly crystals dry and with water, wet and dry spaghetti and oats and mashed potato!
The jelly smelt lovely and the mashed potato was our favourite texture. We learnt lots of new describing words that we will try to use in our Literacy work.
