Miss Cooper's Class
Hello!
Welcome to 2SC's class page.
Here you can find out about our learning, achievements and the fun activities that we do. We all enjoy working hard and being at the top of the school in Year 2.
Miss Cooper is the class teacher and Mrs Peck and Mrs Bohan are our learning support assistants. Although we have lots of help already, we would love some extra help from parents in the classroom, when cooking in the kitchen, changing our Library books and on school trips.
In the morning we do handwriting practice, followed by Phonics. After this is our Literacy lesson, where we work hard on our Writing, Reading and Speaking and Listening skills. Our Numeracy lesson is after morning break and takes us upto lunch time. In the afternoon we are taught the Foundation Subjects and enjoy going down to the Cocoa Pod! On a Monday afternoon we visit the library, so must remember to bring our books back after the weekend to swap it for a new one.
We do P.E. on Monday and Thursday so please remember to bring in our kits on these days and it would be very helpful if every item is labelled as we often get in a muddle!
Every Friday spellings are sent home to learn, which we are then tested on the following Friday. Homework tasks are also sent out weekly on Wednesday and must be returned by the following Monday.
