Mrs Mills' Class
Welcome to RKM’s class page!
Mrs Kelly Mills is our teacher. Mrs Teresa Jones and Miss Joanna Nash are the Learning Support Assistants. We also have Muffin, Ozzy and Denis, our class teddies. They are very friendly and love cuddles! Every Friday, a child in our class takes home Muffin for the weekend! They keep a diary of what Muffin gets up to and share it with the class on a Monday!
We believe that the Early Years lays the foundation for the future development in school life. The Early Years staff work collaboratively and are committed to help each child achieve their full potential. Play underpins the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage, along with child-initiated and adult-led tasks.
This term our topic is 'Ourselves and Our Community', where we will be getting to know each other and looking at our bodies. We may also meet some special visitors. Throughout the topic, we will take part in many other exciting activities too!

8:50 – 9:15am - Register, daily board and visual timetable
9:15 – 9:45am - Phonics
9:45 – 10:30am - Literacy or Numeracy activities
10:30 – 10:45am - Assembly
10:45 – 11am - Play time and Snack time
11 – 11:45am - Literacy or Numeracy activities
11:45 – 12am - Story/Singing/Games
12 – 1pm - Lunch time
1 – 2:30pm - Understanding the World, Music, Art, Show and
Tell or French and child-initiated learning.

3pm - Home time
On Monday morning we have P.E. and ICT. Please remember to
label your child’s P.E. kit and their school uniform!
On Tuesday aftenoon Mrs Mills has PPA time. Mrs Jones teaches us Art or Music and Mrs Leech also comes to support us.
