Hello Year 1!
How are you all? We hope you are all well and that you have managed to spend some time in the sunshine and fresh air...
This week we are going to learn all about Riddles. This is where you have to think of lots of clues to help solve a puzzle. Remember that the best riddles are the ones that can be guessed so lots of relevant clues are the key to a good riddle!
We are also going to visit 'Geraldine the Giraffe' who will help you with the trigraphs 'air' and 'are'. She is very funny so enjoy watching her!
In the afternoons, we would like you to think about castles. Have you ever been to a castle?
This week, we have some exciting news... We are pleased to inform you that now you can use an online Maths resource called RMeasimaths. You have all been assigned a log in and you will be able to access lots of Maths concepts, progress through the levels and earn certificates. Please read the RMeasimaths letter below for more details. We hope you enjoy using this new resource while you are Home Learning.
Remember the weekly plan is a guide for you to use and if you are finding anything tricky and you need our help, we are always here to ask.
We are thinking of you all...
Mrs West and Mrs Bagley xx
