Florence Nightingale

Florence Nightingale came to visit us!

We worked in groups to make pictures of things from Victorian times. Can you see our steam trains, our inventions of the light bulb, Queen Victoria's coronation and rats running across the dirty floors?

Florence took us back in time to 1854 to the Scutari hospital where she looked after injured soldiers. We helped her clean the hospital and change the way nurses looked after their patients.

We really enjoyed our visit from Florence!
