Festivals and Celebrations

We are enjoying our topic Festivals and Celebrations. We began our topic by learning about Diwali. We learnt about the story of Rama and Sita - creating our own baddies, dancing to Indian music and making Diva lamps. It was lots of fun and our diva lamps looked beautiful.

We then had a week of 'Fireworks' where we worked as a group to write some firework poems and created some amazing art work which is now displayed in our classroom.

We will soon be learning about Christmas Around the World before we begin our topic of....Christmas!
