Mrs Chambers' Class Arrive at Shortenills!
Monday 9th June
Hello everyone! Mrs Chambers class here! We were very excited to arrive at Shortenills Educational Study Centre for our long awaited residential trip! On arrival our beds were made and we waved good bye to our parents.
Then it was time to learn the skill of orienteering! We all enjoyed using maps and compasses to freely explore the woodland to find clues and pictures. After a very long day, dinner was pizza and wedges followed by butterscotch tart! Lots of clean plates could be seen!
After dinner, we loved playing in the adventure playground where we spent time climbing and swinging with friends. After a little free time in the dorms, we ate supper before getting ready for one of the most exciting 'sleepovers' ever! Do you wonder what time the last person fell asleep...?!
