Owl Babies

Oak Class have been enjoying many books and this week we have been learning from 'Owl Babies' by Martin Waddell. We listened to the fiction story and learnt many facts about real owls. We were very surprised to learn that some owls are nocturnal and some are diurnal. We didn't realise that a few owls are active during the day!

We loved our Art and Design lesson. We were given a piece of white card and we had to make an owl completely independently. Some were small and some were a bit bigger. We worked hard on the markings of the feathers and they are all now hanging up for us all to see... Take a look at our wonderful owls below...
