Christmas

We began our Christmas festivities at the beginning of December where the Reception children starred as cows and snowflakes in the Christmas production of 'Are We Nearly There Yet?' The children were fantastic and sang their two songs; 'Jingle Jingle Little Bell' and 'Little Snowflake' brilliantly! Well done to all of the Reception children!

On Tuesday 13th December Reception visited Aylesbury Theatre with the rest of the school to watch the pantomime, Dick Whittington. Miss Smith read us the story the day before and some of us were a little bit scared. RKS were very excited about going on a coach, as some of them had not been on a coach before. We all had a lovely time and laughed a lot!

On Thursday 15th December the Reception children joined the rest of the school in the hall for our Christmas concert. The Reception children sang 'I'm a Little Snowman' beautifully to lots of people. We also joined in with some Christmas carols and enjoyed listening to the recorders and the hand bells.

On the last day of term all of the Reception children got together in the big room for a Christmas party. We did lots of dancing and enjoyed playing games. Our favourite game was pin the red nose on the reindeer.

Finally, during our last week of term we all enjoyed taking part in various activties such as decorating biscuits, making Christmas tree decorations and writing a letter to Santa. We all went home sparkling as we used lots of glitter, but we had lots of fun!
