Phonics

Every day we come into school ready to learn Phonics. First, we read High Frequency Words; we are learning to spot split-digraphs, apostrophes and tricky words. This week we have learnt the split digraphs for a-e, i-e, o-e and u-e. We all know how to draw a phoneme frame with sound buttons.

Quick fire words and word lists are our favourite activities. We also enjoy marking our words with Mrs West. Take a look at us working very hard in our Phonics lesson!
