13th July 2020

Hello everyone!

How are you all? We hope that you enjoyed last week's activities and you are all now very good at remembering where to put capital letters, full stops, exclamation marks and question marks! We know that some of the Maths activities were a bit tricky but we hope that you have all practised position and direction and that the 'pirate' found all his belongings! Always remember to hold your hands up to remind yourself of your left and right - 'L for left'!

This week we are going to be thinking about all the memories of Year 1... Did you enjoy singing and dressing up in the School Production? Did you enjoy 'Upstairs, Downstairs' and seeing all the wonderful hats worn by your parents and carers? Did you enjoy visiting The Chiltern Open Air Museum? Did you like Golden Time? This will be your chance to write your memories down...

Are you looking forward to Year 2? This week we would like you to create a 'film trailer' all about yourself. Maybe you could write about your family or your pets. Perhaps you could write about your hobbies or your favourite food. We will put these 'film trailer's into a booklet to give to your new Year 2 Class Teacher so that they will learn all about you before September. If you are working in School, we will photocopy them but if you are working at home, please email your 'film trailer' to us and we will include them in the booklet.

Thank you for sending your page to say thank you to our LSAs. If you would still like to send a page, there is still time...

Many of you will have been enjoying our weekly Assemblies. If you haven't had a look yet, you can participate by clicking on the yellow star icon headed 'Friday Assemblies' on the main Home Learning page.

As always, we want you to know how proud we are of you all. You continue to work so hard and we thank all your parents and carers for the immense support that they continue to give.

We really miss you all so much and we are still here to help you if you need anything at all.

Take care,

Mrs West and Mrs Bagley xx
