On behalf of all pupils, staff, parents and governors, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to Chalfont St Peter Infant School website. Our mission statement is: Learning Together and Celebrating Success; our primary aim is to provide a happy, friendly and safe environment where children enjoy learning and strive to achieve their best. We value our whole school community where great importance is placed upon mutual respect and inclusion.
Our school offers a rich, creative and inspiring curriculum, including all the National Curriculum Subjects as well as French and Forest School. Children are treated as unique individuals and all are supported to achieve their full potential. Learning often takes place outside the classroom with many school trips, opportunities to learn in the local community and to enjoy sharing experiences with a range of visitors.
Our academic standards are very high with results consistently above the national average. We are proud to have been awarded with the prestigious Artsmark Gold Award where children regularly participate in the Arts within Choirs, clubs, Music and Dance Festivals, concerts and performance. We hold the Activemark Award and are committed to regular high quality physical exercise each week - both in lessons and through a range of extra curricular clubs.
We strongly believe a child’s education involves a partnership between home and school. Through working together we give children every opportunity to develop their talents within an ethos which promotes a positive attitude towards learning, coupled with a drive for excellence.
The school values are central part to all we do and the children are supported to become respectful and active members of our local community and the wider world.
We aim to provide all children in our care with the best possible start in life and look forward to welcoming your child and family to our busy and vibrant school! We hope that you enjoy visiting our website and find all the information required. Please contact the school office to arrange a tour; our staff and children will be happy to talk to you!
Thank you for visiting and we look forward to meeting with you soon.
