Grandparents Day 2011

On Monday the 12th of December, RCH invited their grandparents into their class for a morning full of festive fun!
The children and their grandparents participated in festive art and craft activities including making snowmen and Father Christmas collages.  Some children wrote letters to Father Christmas and others showed their grandparents how good they were at colouring.
Following the activites, everybody enjoyed a mince pie and a drink while they completed a Christmas quiz. The children then performed a song, 'Snowflake' especially for the grandparents.
Both the grandparents and children enjoyed the special day.  It was the ideal opportunity to celebrate Christmas as well as show the grandparents our class and what we do!
