Aargh! Pirates!
Year 1 children have enjoyed a wonderful week in Literacy and Drama focusing on Pirate Adventures. We have been busy using our Literacy skills to create treasure maps, messages in bottles and new pirate characters!
At the end of the week, we all dressed as pirates and sailed away on the pirate ship in the playground! We found 'treasure' in the Environmental Area and we even 'walked the plank'!!!
