Lighthouse models

We had a problem to solve in our Design and Technology lesson. In the Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch story, the wire between little white cottage and the lighthouse had snapped!

We designed made models to solve the problem.

Now Mrs Grinling can row her boat to the lighthouse and clip the basket of lunch onto the hanging rope.

Mr Grinling can wind the handle to collect his lunch from the gallery!
