This Morning - A TV Debut!
On Thursday 19th December 2013 some children from our school travelled to the London Television Studios to appear on 'The Nativity' for ITV This Morning! What an experience we had! We had to get up very early as we left school at 6.30am!
After our arrival, we went to a Green Room to change into our costumes. Then we had a rehearsal on set and Miss Cooper practised playing our carol on a tiny keyboard! She was very nervous!
At 11.40am we were ready to go live! Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield introduced us and our tale of 'The Three Kings' began... We all spoke clearly and sang heartily! Holly and Phillip thought we were wonderful and so did Mrs West!
Everyone at school was watching in the hall and Mrs West and all of the children waved from the TV!
We had an amazing time and we are very proud that our school was chosen to appear on This Morning. We will remember it forever... Have a look at our performance on the video clip below. Can you spot the donkey? Ee ore!
