Welcome to Elm Class!
On our class web page you can find out about our achievements, view photos and discover the exciting things we have been learning and experiencing in Year 1.
Mrs Bagley is the class teacher whilst we share our wonderful Learning Support Assistant Miss Parkin with Oak Class.
Over the coming weeks we will be writing to tell you all about our class and all the exciting learning opportunities that we will experience. You will be able to see pictures of us participating in lessons, events and school trips.
We are a very enthusiastic and fun loving class! We enjoy each day, learning, communicating with our friends and following our school values; Respect, Hardworking, Caring, Creative and Honest.
We enjoy extra help from parents or grandparents who may wish to come in and help during Arts Week and on school trips.
Our PE lessons are Monday afternoon (dance) and Thursday afternoon (games). Please can you help us to keep our belongings safe by putting our names on all our clothes!
On Monday afternoons we visit the school Library where we have the opportunity to choose a book to borrow for a week. On Wednesday afternoon we learn French!
We visit the Cocoa Pod on Tuesday and Friday where we often use Computing to enhance our learning in a cross curricular way.
