Mrs Chambers' Class
Hello and welcome to 2JCh’s class page.
This is where you can find out about our achievements, view photos and discover the exiting things we have been learning and doing. Year 2 is a very busy year but we will be having lots of fun along the way!
Mrs Chambers is the Class Teacher and Mrs Barnett and Miss Bryan are the LSA’s. We are a very happy and hard working class who love working and playing together. We love extra help from parents or grandparents who may wish to come in and help in class, Library, for Food Technology and on school trips.
We start everyday with 10 minutes of quiet handwriting practice, followed by phonics. Literacy and Numeracy take us up to lunchtime and in the afternoons we are taught the foundation subjects. On a Monday we visit the Library, please remember to bring your book back so you can change it for a new one each week.
Every Friday we take home spellings to learn which we are then tested on the following Friday. Homework is sent home on a Wednesday and must be returned the following Monday.
In 2JCh we all strive to be worker of the week so that we can acknowledge our success in the weekly Celebration Assembly and get a trophy to keep on our desk for the whole week.
