Hello Year 2,

What a shame that we are missing our last two weeks at school before Christmas. We are so sad that we will not be able to complete all of the fun activities that were planned but have tried hard to make sure that the planning for this week is fun and Christmas themed.

Each day there will be English and Maths activities added for you to complete. There is also a phonics booklet focusing on the Year 2 common exception words, it has spelling practise as well as word searches and crosswords to have a go at. You could print it out and complete one or two pages every day.

As we would usually be creating many wonderful Christmas crafts at this time of year, we have included a folder with lots of ideas about things to can make at home. We will add to this as the week goes on so keep checking the folder.
