Senses Stations

We are now learning to write poetry. We have also been learning all about our bodies in Science. To link the lessons, we have been learning to write poems about our senses. To give us inspiration, we all bought four things from home: something to touch, see, smell and hear. Mrs West bought all the things that we could taste. We all placed our things from home on a 'Senses Station' and set about exploring our senses. We absolutely loved this lesson. 'This was my best day ever' we said! We are not sure about the lemon on the taste station...it was so sour!

After break time, we worked collaboratively to create a group senses poem and it was so easy! This was because we had experienced all of our senses at the Senses Stations! Take a look below at us all exploring and having such fun!
