Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone's responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families has a role to play. 

At Chalfont St Peter Infant School the safeguarding of pupils is paramount. We ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibility to safeguard all pupils, by providing them with regular training and updates. 

We recognise that parents are the primary carers of their children and that they have a vital role to play in keeping them safe. At Chalfont St Peter Infant School we always endeavour to work closely with parents to ensure the welfare, safety and happiness of the children. 

The school works collaboratively with multiple agencies to ensure pupils needs and welfare are at the centre of all support provided.
