Fine Motor Activities

Fine motor skills is the ability to make movements using smaller muscles in your hands. Some examples of fine motor skills are pinching and grasping. Playdough is a great fine motor activity. The development of these skills will eventually help your child to hold a pencil effectively and build up a stamina for writing. Cutting skills are an essential fine motor skill and can sometimes take a while for children to build. Please use the activities below to support your child’s development in this area.
