Roald Dahl Art's Week

Today we celebrated the end of our incredible Annual Arts Week by opening our Art Gallery! This week each class had undertaken art and literacy activities based on a book by Roald Dahl!

Willow Class- Matilda

Pine Class- Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Oak Class- The BFG

Elm Class- Fantastic Mr Fox

Chestnut Class- James and the Giant Peach

Beech Class- The Enormous Crocodile

We have so enjoyed five days of endless creativity and art of all descriptions – rooms have been full of paper of every kind, clay, pastels, paint, pencils, collage, glitter and delightful sketch books! Each classroom has been an absolute buzz of enthusiasm and activity and we are so proud of what everyone has accomplished. Each child in four short days has produced one piece of writing, one 3D model, one piece of collage, another artistic creation and also undertaken Quentin Blake inspire sketches in their sketch book.
