Planetarium Visit

We have enjoyed a school treat from The Planetarium organised by Miss Ridgley, one of our Science Coordinators. The children were beyond excited to see the specialist from Science Oxford setting up the dome in the hall Wednesday morning and each delighted in the awe-inspiring pictures they saw once inside. Immersed in the inflatable dome, the children had a 360-degree view of the night sky above them. They embarked on an adventure, travelling into orbit, landing on the moon and learning about stars, planets and constellations.  We have many children interested in space and astronomy and they were so inspired by this visit.
