Reindeer Visit

On Friday 12th November we had some rather magical guests visit Chalfont
St Peter Infant School. One of our festive traditions organised by the
PTA in the run up to Christmas is a Reindeer Visit and both Jet and Hail
visited from Riverways Farm along with their handlers Melisa and Taz.

With the children and their teachers looking colourful in Christmas
jumpers, each class had a presentation from the handlers and were able
to ask questions before having a class photograph taken with them.

A wonderful day was had by all and we've all learnt so much, for example
did you know Reindeer can run up to 40mph, that their antlers fall off
each year, or that Polar Bears are one of their predators? We were also
lucky enough to be gifted an antler of our very own! Here are some
photos of our day.
