Year 2 Church visit for rememberance

As part of their ‘Time Travellers’ topic our Year 2 Historians headed off to the village church on Monday to look at artefacts from the world wars that were in a display in the church, lent to the church by members of the village. Our chair of governors, Mr. King and his wife told the children many stories from the past and then the children were given time to sketch and also use the artefacts to find out as much as they could about the past.
