Many of us were very excited as we came into school to day for Children in Need day.
We went straight into the hall where we participated in a live broadcast for the 'Big Morning Move'. As the broadcast went live, we were given 10 moves to compete. We all moved and jumped and hopped - we were all puffed out at the end!
In the afternoon, Year 2 members of the School Council, held a cake and sweetie sale after school. Thank you to all parents and children who came to support this worthy cause.
After everyone had gone home the teachers took part in the Annual Duck Race Sweepstake 2019. They were all hoping that their duck would make it down the watery slalom! In the end Mrs Edwards was victorious!
Finally at the end of Children in Need day, Chalfont St Peter Infant School had raised £141.
Well done to everyone involved.
As the last post sounded, played so beautifully by the Chesham Girls Band, Chalfont St Peter Infant School joined with other local schools and our village community for Remembrance Sunday.
The School Council proudly carried our School banner in the parade and marched through the village where they were met by so many villagers on this very special morning. Eashan carried and laid our poppy wreath at the memorial in St Peters Church where the sun shone over us all.
As the two minute silence began, we gave our thanks to all those who 'gave their today for our tomorrow'.
